We are a small family run kennel. We are located in Zachary, Louisiana. My name is Matt Rushing. I played college football at Mississippi College for a year before coming home and pursuing a construction management degree. I have been training for three years. I have two dogs myself that I have trained. I am a younger trainer just starting out. I take a lot of pride in my work and I put out the very best dogs I can. Every dog I receive is treated like one of my own. I understand the level of team work it takes to become a champion and that is what I instilled in my dogs and their owners. I hope that after the completion of training that all owners have a full understanding of what there retriever is fully capable of, and that each client is satisfied with the training that their partner has received. Our kennel is located on approximately 6 acres. Each dog has there own spacious 5x10 run. All of our kennels are placed on concrete slab with a sun blocker built behind it to keep them cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Each run has its own hutch so the dogs can live in comfort and style. We are located 5 minutes from the small animal hospital in Zachary and only 10 minutes away from the LSU vet school. We feed the highest nutritional food (high in protein and fat) to keep up with the high energy levels demanded by a high-engery retriever. I hope this will give you some insight to what we are about and what we do. Everything I do is for the well being and saftey of our dogs.
